How??? You haven’t ever been in the Ukrainian baths? We will help you to open the door to the unknown world called "Ukrainian Bath”. The history of baths in Ukraine is rooted in the Tripolsky culture. At that time, our ancestors built the adobe dwellings. First baths looked like this dwellings.
The first mention of the baths in Ukraine, recorded in 450 BC. Herodotus was the first, who told about Scythian baths traditions. At that time, people took a steam bath in their tents, in the middle of which situated vat of hot stones. On these stones poured water and sprinkled with hemp seeds. Herodotus wrote that there was a lot of steam and people got a great pleasure from this process.
Geneticists have established that the correct bath extends our lives and slows the aging process. Unfortunately, a lot of people know nothing about the right baths and it may be harmfully for people’s health. Our ancestors were basking on the shelves within hours, while drinking kvass. In this case, hot air does not overheat the body, and fed him energy.
Using alcohol n the baths is the wrong way. In the real Ukrainian bath people drink special herbal tea or special drink prepared in the purest water from the local berries and honey. Right baths with special drinks help get rid of toxins from the body and skin rejuvenation.
Our ancestors believed healing baths. Because of that, they used it not only for childbirth, to make the first in the life of the child health procedures, to massage, treating colds, reduce a dislocations, treated joints, rubbing ointments from herbs.
The story about Ukrainian bath would be complete without mention of a broom. The branches for the broom are cut off on certain days (on religious holidays). During cutting people read some prayers. Brooms are dried in the shade, so as not to lose their healing properties and fragrance.
