Ukrainian wedding in the village in Ukraine

After this ritual, the celebration continued in the groom’s house. In parting newlyweds sprinkled with grain. Relatives of the bride carried her everything she could want - tableware, clothes, etc.
Near the house newlyweds spent through fire or doused with water. Wedding night the couple spent in the house of a young man under the supervision of the boyars (elders).
