The Constitution day in Ukraine

This holiday is celebrated annually on June 28. The Constitution of Ukraine was adopted in 1996. Over the adoption of the most important document of the state, the deputies worked for several days. For a young state, this was an important step.

Within the framework of the Constitution, laws were passed on state symbols, the state language and the right to property in Ukraine. Discussion of many articles of the Constitution of Ukraine was difficult and caused many disputes.

With the adoption of the fundamental law, the state consolidated its sovereignty and marked the borders of the territory. Since that moment, the country began to ensure the rights of man and citizen.

The Constitution of Ukraine has sharply raised the reputation of the country in the eyes of the international community. Since the adoption of the country's main law in 1996, it has made some adjustments and amendments.

June 28 was recognized as state holidays and is a day off.
